  • Captured solar energy is used to freeze PCM in a thermal storage® solution.
  • Continuous freezing and melting causes heat transfer which in turn, cools the environment

THE TECHNOLOGY

  • PCM is contained within vertical towers ® hidden behind a 21cm false wall
  • 3 hours of captured solar energy can power a standard heat pump which freezes the PCM
  • Cool air is then released through the vent at the bottom, while hot air is sucked into the top vents.
  • This continuous process of freezing and melting of PCM releases energy for up to 2 days in one cycle.
