This historical expertise now forms the foundation for the development of Sun Ice Energy, a thermal storage technology based on phase change materials (PCM).
Unlike conventional storage systems, the Sun Ice Energy solution enables the storage of solar energy in the form of heat and cold, with stable efficiency over time, a lifespan of up to 50 years, and the use of non-toxic, durable, and recyclable materials. It therefore significantly contributes to reducing electricity consumption, CO₂ emissions, and dependence on energy grids.
This technology is already implemented on an industrial scale, notably within ATEQ’s new eco-responsible factory in China, designed as a concrete demonstration of compatibility between industrial excellence and environmental performance.
